The big difference between Head Hunter tourneys and regular multi-table tourneys is the way the prize money is distributed. In Head Hunter tourneys only 50% of your buy-in goes towards the standard prize pool and is paid out as normal and the other 50% goes towards the bounty prize pool.
The bounty prize pool is then split evenly on all the tourney players’ heads. The basic strategy is to eliminate as many players as possible in order to collect the bounty. Obviously you also want to reach the prize positions in the tourney without becoming a bounty yourself! When you do eliminate a player from the tourney you immediately win 75% of the bounty on his head and 25% of the prize bounty is added to your own head.
There is an extra tab in the tourney lobby called “Bounty Info” which displays all the players’ performance and bounty value at any given time.
€100,000 GTD Head Hunter on the first Sunday of the month
On the first Sunday of the month at 17:00 GMT, there is a special monthly €100,000 Head Hunter tourney. You can book your seat through our daily satellites.
The buy-in is €150 + €10. 50% of the buy-in goes towards the standard prize pool and is paid out as normal and the other 50% is paid into the bounty prize pool.
When you eliminate a player from the tourney you immediately win 80% of the bounty on his head and 20% is used increase the opposing players’ head value.

Every Sunday at 18:00 GMT there is a special weekly €5,000 Head Hunter tourney. You can book your seat through our daily satellites, which run every day.
